Case Study
Collaborative training means that a company provides vocational training
together with another firm or with an education provider. This option is
particularly interesting for companies that are unable to teach all the content that
is prescribed by the training regulations. 215/5000 Those who train jointly with a
partner company can apply for funding in most federal states. The financial
subsidies - usually a combination of state and ESF funds - are intended to reduce
some of the additional costs for companies resulting from the increased
organizational and administrative costs.
"For the fulfillment of the contractual obligations of the training company, several
natural or legal persons may cooperate in a training network, provided that the
responsibility for the individual training periods as well as for the entire training
period is ensured (collaborative training)." § 10 Abs. 5 Vocational Training Act i.d.F.
